    say it....TALENT POOL.

    say it again....TALENT POOL.

    NRL is drawing from it.

AFL is attempting to draw from it, and is spending millions to interest them.

Australian BOXING should learn a lesson from its marketing superiors, the AFL and the NRL. PI is a great talent pool.

NRL and AFL have both recieved over a billion $$ for tv rights in the past few weeks.

boxing cant get its fights on TV. why? NO TALENT.

    say it again cocksmoker.....TALENT POOL...

I thought Damien Hooper showed some promise as did Jai Opetaia who was very very unlucky to lose a decision to the gold medal favourite in Teymur Mammadov .

Have to agree with you here swingin. With the right training and the genetic advantages that PI kids have there is an abundance of untapped talent that can come out of the islands.
Jai Opetaia is a perfect example.

Part of me wants to see Jai turn pro now rather than wait 4 years to see him go for gold. But he's made the right decision, he's only young. And yes, I just realised he's not 18 yet anyway:oops:

why do you want to rob PI talent and dress it up in green and gold and send it out as your own?

concentrate on your own home grown talent.

let the poor ****ing island nations have their own heros ffs

Who mentioned anything about poaching talent from the islands? Obviously reading isn't one of your strong points?
The thread stated if there was any good kids from here and from the PI's and then swingin used Maselino Masoe as an example who represented SAMOA you idiot.
And Dawsosj with "Australia has a massive talent pool as well you racist ****"
How any of the previous comments were racist are beyond me but anyhow....
A thread is started so people can contribute to it, SO how about naming some of the talent that you saw and any potential?
If you cant go back I'm sure there is a Man seeking Man site out there for you :thumbsup

Talent pool isnt a problem, the problem is fights that are on TV are nothing more than a one sided fight, fans have had enough and are voting with their TV remotes via changing the feking channel, dont blame them, only so much bullsht you can watch over and over again when you know what the result is going to be. Not to mention the bias commentators that dont have a feking clue. Need more blokes like Teddy Atlas calling it how it is, putting pressure on the matchmakers and promoters to deliver high quality, evenly matched bouts. Nothing short of this will suffice.
