I think Tua still hits as hard as anybody in boxing when he can get his feet planeted and land. Peter beats him my making it a fight at a longer range and using his jab. If he allows Tua to get inside and is content with fighting toe to toe, even the current Tua knocks him out.

    Tua beats all but Wlad.

And if at his prime, he managed to get close, and go left hook body/left hook head in combination, he'd be a a great chance of winning that.

I thought that's how he'd beat Lewis. Left hook to the body to drop the hands, then BANG, left hook upstairs.

Chances of that went at the scales.

Well, if you say Ike fight shouldn't be considered as Tua's loss I can understand it. But in this case, you have to do the same with his "win" and "draw" against Rahman.
Moorer was quite far away from being in his prime when he fought Tua (to say the least). Tua has beaten Rahman? Yes, it took him "only" some help from the referee (and the "draw" he got in the rematch is equally questionable).

While Tua had puncher's chance against almost anyone, his style was so predictable that also almost everybody (I mean, among top fighters) got "boxer's chance" against him. Even Oquendo almost did it, and Tua was also lucky the fight with Maskaev was for some minor title (as he needed more than 10 rounds to KO his opponent).

I think Wlad would demolish him. Wlad is big and skilled enough to keep him off with his jab, and when Tua gets tired he can start throwing hooks, while still being out of range of Tua punches.

Chagaev or Ibragimov (let's forget Iggy is no longer titleholder)... well, difficult to say. Generally, they are not really much better than some of the guys Tua has beaten, but the combination of good defence and southpaw stance can be frustrating for Tua. I wouldn't be surprised with any result.

I would favour Tua over Peter. Tua - Ike was very close, and Peter is nowhere close to Ike. Peter simply has no skills/speed/footwork to outbox Tua for more than a couple of minutes.

    Tua could beat them all.

Peter has nothing to beat Tua with, Tua by KO

Wlad could win a wide UD but if Tua lands its lights out and Tua could KO Wlad in round 1 or round 12 if he lands. Prime Tua was fast, aggressive and threw a load of shots. Wlad would be shitting himself for the 12rounds

Chagaev would get KO'd, he doesnt have the size or stamina to keep Tua off him

He would get his ass kicked by Cisse Salif once again. He wouldnt be able to go the full route with Robert Hawkins once more.He would lose big time to Talmadge Griffis.:D

Tua in his prime, huh? A fringe contender-nothing more.
