He'd outbox Tua over 10 or 12. I think he'd stop Morrison. 80's Tyson would run him over, 90s Tyson I dunno I see everyone else beating him
No, I said there weren't very many SPs. HBO didn't want Lewis v Byrd. They had final say and still a lot of pull. And you know who else didn't care for it? Most fans. I was a big Byrd fan, but even I knew he had little chance of winning.
Exactly. Though I think I was a very fair stoppage against McCall, he was on his feet but not in good condition. It was a hell of a shot.
Nobody wanted to see Lewis-Byrd. Lennox would stop him or smack him around like Ibeabuchi and Klitschko did. Chris needed a gift draw against badly faded version of Golota. Great fighter, but didn't have it to take on the best men of the 90's. Instead Lewis entered the ring with Vitali, ranked #1 by the WBC IIRC. Also, Don King offered Lewis one million dollars and a Range Rover so he would vacate the IBF belt. King wanted to promote Byrd-Holyfield bout for the vacant title.
Golotta vs Zhang would have been interesting. I see Zhang landing his left on a stationary Golotta, busting him up badly thru 6. Of course only to have Andrew have one of his melt downs somewhere around the 8th round. I could see him beating Morrison only if he stays away from Tommy’s hook. If he could box Tua from range maybe he gets that one too. Everyone else I think beats Zhang. Different era, different toughness
Very probable outcomes. Enjoy seeing posts from people that don't blindly worship HWs from 1, 2, and more generations ago. Current and recent top HWs would be very competitive against those 90s era HWs... and would win many or most f2f match ups.
Small OldGeorge above Big Bang Really?! Tommy Morrison?! Bowe?! Late 90's Lewis is easily the best one on that list but even he could get sparked TF out by way lesser men than Zhang...
