Hatton seems like a nice guy. He comes into fights in top shape and he is game. However, he is not that good a fighter. His style is punch and clinch. He probably doesn't want that to be his style but his lack of talent prevents him from being a more fluid type fighter. Paq. is very talented and extremely fast. I see this as an easy, very one sided fight lasting 3 rounds with Hatton overwhelmed and stopped. I am more a fan of Hatton than Paq. because I never liked watching southpaws. I just have this very strong conviction it will be very one sided.

Hatton works in the gym, he will do his best. I will not be surprised if he beats Pac, not surprised at all.

Hatton/Pac is one of the most intriguing fights to come down the line in quite some time. I'm not a big Hatton fan, but I'm picking him to stop Pac late. I am a bit of a PacMan fan, but I think he may have bitten off more than he can chew.

I will be the first to admit I was against Hatton for the longest time. The guy was super protected and didnt face anyone until later in his career. But, he has recently stepped up and is facing some better opponents. I think hatton will need to stop Manny earlier in this fight for him to win. If he doesnt, the way he has been slowing in fights in the later rounds will be a big problem.

I am not a big Hatton fan, but now I have some respect for him.

I've liked Hatton since the very first time I saw him fight, before Kosta even. I've always liked him, his style, and his "balls to the wall" slugging.

Born and raised in the US.

I get so bored of seeing this, why should he have fought Witter? He took exactly the right route, look at his PBF and Manny fights, that's what he should be doing not fighting bloody losers like Witter. It doesn't matter if he's better or not, you got to fight the best out there and not worry about no hopers calling you out for fights just because they want a pay day.

Come to think of it, outside of maybe Paul Williams right now, there aren't many US boxers that I do like...

Floyd Mayweather (have to respect the guy's record even if you don't LIKE him)
Kelly Pavlik - Though B-Hop was shameful (still don't like B-Hop)
    Juan Diaz

I've been a Joe Calzaghe fan since the Late 1990's, but that's probably because I saw the Jeff Lacy fight live in 1996 when I was in Manchester.

I guess I'm a "yank" and I'll be rooting for Hatton. Not because I like the guy or anything, because I don't, but because I dislike Manny a lot more.

Although if you ask me to make a prediction I'll take Pac by split decision.... but it could go either way IMO.

I like both fighters, they both bring heart and excitement to the ring. It's going to be a great fight. Still laugh when I think of Hatton's comment after the Mayweather fight "I slipped" classic.

Hatton is a respectable guy who (like Hopkins said) is sometimes too brave for his own good but that's what makes him exciting...Let me say - I have more respect for Hatton than I will ever have for Floyd and I much rather watch a Hatton fight than a Mayweather fight. :deal

go ahead Mayweather nuthuggers, hate on me :yep

i like hatton as much as i like pac. they are both in my top 10 favorite fighters. im really not rooting for either one over the other but i think manny will get a unanimous decision. he stands to make more money for those involved behind the scenes so the refs should give him the benefit of the close rounds. right now he is laying the golden eggs.
