The situation there was a little bit different. Klitschko was a champion and was able, most probably, to negotiate a favorable referee.
To be honest, I don't remember controversial decisions happening over there. Considering previous judging in the WBSS, and also considering judging in all major fights that happened in Russia, I don't think that we will have any controversy. There have always been neutral and international officials and judging has been fair.
Is there a way to watch this in the states? I saw Usyk fight at The Forum on the undercard to Smith knocking Hopkins out of the ring. He had a pretty solid fan base even out here. That was a tough opponent to look good against, but Usyk got the job done.
Where would you stage a fight to be certain of fair judges? USA, UK, Russia? If you want to buy the judges it makes no difference were your at. Also, isn't the event staged by the WBSS and not by Gassievs handlers? It's also in their best interest to have a fair fight and they seem to be serious with this event/brand. I have no concerns about this fight. Or rather, not more than any other top fight in boxing.
I really can't recall recall any recent fights from Russia where the was a robbery. Its interesting that posters who say he will get robbed can't actually name any examples of there being one.
Is that why the Russians invaded and took over Crimea and why they give military support for Russian speaking separatists in Eastern Ukraine. .because they don't hate? Ffs read a newspaper once in a while.
