Any one know much about middleweight title challenger Miguel Espino

Is he available?

 

Why is it wierd? Arum found a guy who would take the fight on relatively short notice who KP can beat with one good hand. It was the only way to keep the titles. Fighting a guy like Espino with one good hand is a hell of a lot different from fighter Williams with one good hand. It's really that simple.

 

I agree.....can you imagine if he loses though? Due to leack of training/said bad hand.

 

Are we going to be looking at a "one-handed" Pavlik fighting Espinos and Rubios for the rest of his career? :think

Not claiming to know the particulars here but he seems to have had an awful lot of time to heal..

 

One of the articles from yesterday said that as soon as KP went to Vegas he started working with yet another therapist. The therapist was very skeptical about Pav being ready to fight any time soon, but he can make a fist now, and has been cleared to train normally. Sorry, but I have to go to work pretty soon so I don't have time to find the article.

I think that if all goes well with this fight, We'll see Pavlik at full steam, and going full speed ahead in 2010.

 

well, espino hasnt fought since march i don't think. so he's gotta be a bit rusty as well

 

from what i understand, he's sparring now. so that's a good sign.

 

Pavlik is trying to hold into his title longer than he should have it. He would of had enough trouble with Mora's awkward style let alone Paul Williams. I suspect he knows how good he is, or isn't and is trying to milk his Championship before he loses it.

 

I suspect that you are full of **** as usual. I also supect that Pavlik had a career threatening hand problem and two surgeries. In addition, I suspect that George Peterson told the truth the other day when he said Paul will return to 147 and will never fight KP. Peterson knows exactly how good PW is, and isn't. You obviously do not.

 

Mora? A half-shot LMW Vernon Forrest shut down his awkward style and tagged the daylights out of him from the moment he started putting in serious effort (basically the opening bell of the rematch).

Kelly isn't prone to off-nights like the one the Viper had that first time around. He's smash Sergio in 7, tops.
