The guy must be one of the most avoided fighters in boxing, he is on something like a 12 fight win streak and has not lost in 4 years, is ranked number 3 in the wbc rating's and rated number 5 or 6 by the ring. Its sad this guy hasnt had his chance. Any one got any news on him?
If you look at his record most of his losses was at lightheavy when the guy was only 19 or 20 years of age fight prospects on short notice, he is now fighting at lightmiddle so what does that tel you? he had no place at lightheavy
When was the last time he was knocked down? Are Epifanio Mendoza and Ossie Duran light hitters? Both of them tagged him pretty good and he didn't go down. Granted, he's been knocked out a lot in the past, so his chin can't be that good, but saying he has one of the worst chins out there is probably an overstatement. Who the hell even knows whether those early KOs were on chin shots or body shots?
The guys who stopped Lopez at 160 had a combined 66 knockouts. We're talking guys like Zuniga and Tsurkan; guys who rarely ever win by decision.
