Hagler would beat pretty up every MW, bar Monzon in some people's eyes.

Weight-jumping can be distracting IMO.

And Hagler beat Vito decisively both times IMO. Close figths don't take away from a fighter.

The Hagler that Leonard fought had been through some absolute wars. He was not shot, but past it, and to be honest Leonard hardly won the fight decisively himself. A lot of people think Hagler won that fight, it wasn't a 'comprehensive' victory by any means.

ranking a fighter based on resume is the only objective way to rank a fighter cause its based on facts.

Maybe H2H is a bad word; overall skills shown in a career might be better.

I.e Sven Ottke has some very good names on his resume and is undefeated. However, he has no right being ranked highly as we all know he was crap:good

 

h2h is a way to prove that the talent of a fighter is timeless...look at joe brown, he is not blessed with great fighters in his era yet he is a good fighter h2h

how can you prove that a boxer has great ability? you must stretch you imagination and envision them pitted against great fighters of different era...look at jofre, not top 50 in resume but no one beats him in h2h match-up

first of all he had great fighters in his era the guy fought for more than 25 years are you going to tell me there wasnt any great fighters during that time.
