Any other "great" boxers retire undefeated?

    Having limited boxing knowledge I don't really know if any other boxer has done this.

    Mayweather did it. Joe C. might do it. But who else?

    From what I can see, all the guys on the ATG lists seem to have lost before.

    Btw...this isn't a Mayweather love or hate thread. I'm just curious if it has been done before.

    Sven Ottke. There's also an asian fighter that did it. (can't rememember his name)

    :huh He beat every opponent he faced due to rematches but wasn't undefeated.

    Ricardo Lopez is probably the only one who retired undefeated but actually fought everybody out there to fight. Never avoided anyone because he couldnt afford to do that especially in the division he was campaigning at.

    Whoa sorry guys... After no sleep I thought I read retired as "undisputed" Champ... Go figure... My Bad...

    Lennox Lewis though ironically imo would have retired as an undefeated undisputed Champion of the World had he prepared deligently for all of his fights... But he did not and you are right, Lennox does not make this "undefeated" list... :good
