This is a PR disaster. I even got fam in different countries hearing "Pac refuses drug test" bull**** story. I think pac should do the test and take out his frustration and anger on void's face in the ring.
If it's truly between taking the unprecedented and unwarranted tests or not having the fight at all then I think Pac should just concede to the demands and take the tests.
Manny agreed to additional tests the issue is the blood being drawn the day before the fight ..I dont see how Manny is wrong here ..
It'll just be that much sweeter if pacquiao wins. I understand him not wanting to do it this way, but as a last case scenario, he might have to.
Pac should just take the test, beat Floyd , make 45 million and be remembered as a Boxing God or he can be labeled a cheater for the rest of his life and get in line to sue Floyd. This would make great material for Legendary Nights.
he is taking the test but not on floyd's terms i think the mayweathers have gotten away with so much already. at first didn't want to take them to court because he didn't want to glorify the issue. but now the *****s are acting as if manny is already guilty bec mayweather says he is
can you not read! show me the link where manny said he does not want to be tested at all! SHOW ME NOW
Pac refused mediation and would rather go to court http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=4771718
This article is only half the story :Manny had agreed to take a test before the final press confrence and 1 right after the fight ..At this point I can see why he is fed up ..Nice try ! Talk about a spin move ..
I'm a huge Pac fan and I believe he should take the test, even though he's being unfairly singled out, and even after the fact he's passed every drug test given to him, 10 to be exact. Pac only expressed concern over taking blood out so close to the fight date, never flat out refused it. But Golden Boy had try to taint his reputation by reporting to the world otherwise that Pac refused any blood tests altogether. I'm a huge believer of drug and steroid testing to the highest degree, as long as it is not intrusive to the point it will affect the athletes mindset and possibly their performance. USADA, Floyd's choice of agency, is notoriious for giving multiple blood and urine tests up to the day in competition in the Beijing Olympics. Asafa Powell, expressed agitation at this practice. He was very irritated as he was tested numerous times before his races. He said it really affected him mentally but luckily was able to perform well in his races.
