Yodsanklai is one of my favorite Nak Muay because of his two fisted style, incredible shell cracking kicking power, and his seeming disdain for clinch fighting. Are there any other Thais with his style? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qisjQK92cI&feature=related[/ame]
Here are some fighters that that I think fit the bill... well mostly: Saiyok Pumpanmuang maybe... though a little more of a brawler than Yod. Chokprecha kor sakooncher will clinch from time to time. Veeraphol Sahaprom dosent have the same power on his left kick that yod does. Samransak Muangsurin a brawler had a powerful left kick though. none of these guys have the calmness that yod has(maybe Veeraphol). Yodsanklai just had a very relaxed way of fighting with devastating power, and good finishing ability. Yod wasnt really a brawler, very composed he didnt waste punches or kicks, everyone of his strikes purpose was to break you down or knock you out. Mean intentions. one of my favourite fighters. I dont think their is anyone quite like Yodsanklai. Good post Yaca. :good And that Khem v Yod, that'll be fun......:wooo And RJJ I don't think Yod has "distain" for the clinch he lacks the body shape for it. And in terms of simialr styles and fighters to both Yod nad Superlek with over 65,000 pros in Thailand there will be more than just a few with similar styles. Ohh and always a pleasure to watch another Superlek highlight!
