I dont think he looks that bad at all. Looking at his upperbody I think he even looks bigger then Roy and its not like his face is real skinny like weight drained fighters ala Erik Morales where you can actually see his cheek bones. Chris looks decent here and hes pretty tall for 175 it looks. Im interested to see how he looks at 175 in the ring cant wait. Chris is a nice guy he deserves to have success.

Thats true and although I do agree hes lost some of his reflexes he never lost the knowledge and defensive technique. Chris used to have good legs and I think its POSSIBLE not probable that making taking off that 30-40 pounds will make him alittle lighter on his feet. I know after seeing many fighters like Shane Mosley or Evander Holyfield and watching myself personally that when a guy is able to be light on his feet his hands are quicker. Shaun George may be a bum but we will be able to tell in this fight where Byrds speed and reflexes are at this point in his career.

I believe that picture was taken this past Wednesday at Wednesday Night Fights. I think Chris looks like a monster at LHW. He definitely looks different in the face from what we are use to seeing, but he doesn't look sick or as if he is drained.

We will have to wait until we get to see him in the ring at LHW.

    Good luck Chris!

Its surprising how muc physically bigger he looks than Roy. I dont really understand why Byrd didnt just drop down to 200lbs. But then again if the it was old limit of 190 i think he would have stopped at cruiser. He walks around at 205 and has to really pack it on just to be a solid enoug heavy. To be fair though i think its too late for him to make a diffrence but he`d certainly be a welcome name at 75.
