Do you think there's a heavyweight out there at the moment that could dominate the division for years like Wladimir Klitschko or do you expect it to be more along the lines of the 90s and 70s with several great fighters trading belts between each other?

I think it will be like the early 90's after Tyson and before Lewis. It is going to be a more exciting division than during the late Lewis and the Vitaly/Wlad era for sure. To be honest I think Fury has the most potential at the moment.

    Maybe Parker.

But dominating like Wlad, can't see that happening. Too many guys that can beat eachother depending on the form of the day or just being more lucky.
I think we're getting a lot of beltholders and a lot of avoiding eachother.

Definitely NO ! I expect these guys to be on top : Wilder, Parker, Joshua, Jenninngs, Usyk (when he move up in weight), but I don't think anyone could be DOMINANT CHAMPION (like Wlad or Lennox).

jennings , i would not put up there
    parker/joshua/wilder/ have potential
jennings decent fighter only/he fought a bit to survive v wlad and beat spzilka in a hard fiight, but he is average power/size/ability to me.

i pick luis ortiz to win 117-112 or something like that next saturday and thats only because hes a fat/lazy trainer who will give rounds away instead of working

ortiz cannot be dominat to old and not enough dedication to the sport/talent wise he most probably has the most of all.

It's going to be a more interesting division. Lets just hope Fury beats Wlad again. It'd probably be the worst thing for the division Wlad winning the re-match.

Yes, Jennings is average size and power, but, he is very, very awkward, with excellent chin and stamina.

Joshua has the biggest chance to horde some titles, I think. Nearly impossible to keep it as long as Wlad did nowadays though, but that's probably a good thing.

Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, Hugie Fury and David Haye all have the potential to reign for years provided they pick up one title each and never fight each other.

I think when Hughie develops his natural "man strength" in a few years he's going to be hard to beat.

  11. Wlad was a horrible champion, ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. He was extremely lucky he came around at a time when the division was at it's worst. He was knocked out by C level fighters in Purity and Sanders in the 90s then the 2ks roll around and the division dries up and he becomes champ. Fighting Tony Thompson 2x?????
TONY THOMPSON??? was a major contender???? Thompson would not even be a D level fighter in the 90s. Calvin Brock??? LOL
    Pulev??? LOL
    Povetkin??? LOL

    All Horrible fighters.

The fighters that will dominate in this era are
    Anthony Joshua
    Oscar Rivas
    Deontay Wilder
    Tyson Fury
    Joseph Parker
    Dillian Whyte
    Luis Ortiz
Bryant Jennings (when he fought Wlad he only had something like 19 fights. It was way too early for him to face a guy with 60 plus fights. He didn't have enough faith in himself yet he was definitely rushed.)

All of them are excellent and would have been competitive with the fighters of the 90s and 70s

  12. Name me a great fighter Klinchko fought in the 2ks??? That would compete with Tyson Lewis Holyfield in the 90s. NONE. The exception is Bryant Jennings and read previous post

No, no one is clear cut Above the others. Too many questions still need to be answered by the current crop. We'll have some answers once they start facing each other

AJ is showing ATG aspirations, but he lacks any Strategic advantage over Fury or Wilder.

At this point AJ KTFO Wlad, unforyinately for AJ Fury will clean out Wlad account of any ATG credit in the rematch.

Fury size & mental strength are an obstacle that makes AJ the underdog

Wilder size & concussive velocity also makes AJ the underdog

If Wilder doesn't fully destroy Povetkin, AJ should for a Povetkin fight or Wlad if Fury doesn't fully destroy him

An anticipated showdown between Fury & Wilder if both stay undefeated has the answer
