Any potential dominant champion on the current HW landscape?

The good news is there are plenty of young guys around to keep the division interesting for the next 10 years or so.

At this point, I think it would be bad for the division if one guy won a title and held it the whole time.

The division needs some rivalries. Some trilogies. A couple round-robins involving the top guys.

I expect Fury to win and lose and win and lose the title several times. He'll be around for another 15 years, though.

Wilder just turned 30. He may only have one title run in him. I think when he loses the title, he may not win it back. But his power will always keep him viable.

Joshua is young enough to be around for a long time. He might become the biggest star of them all. He could also be the guy who burns out first. (Like Foreman did in the 70s.) Foreman was a little mentally fragile in the 70s. Joshua kind of gives me that impression. He's a frontrunner. And that power is devastating. But he looks like he can be the victim of mind games if everything doesn't go just right for him.

He could be special. Or he could get beaten when someone out-thinks him.

Parker ... I'm taking a wait and see on him.

Luis Ortiz and Bryant Jennings are older, and may only be around for a couple years. I don't see them being around long-term.

More guys will be turning pro after the Olympics next year, too.

I'm a huge fan of the heavyweights. I always have been. This is a solid group of talented young guys. I hope they all fight each other, and we see some great action fights.

We all deserve it ... after such a long dry spell.

 

Tyson Fury definitely has a solid chance of doing it if he keeps consistent. Sadly though, consistency seems to be far too difficult for heavyweights nowadays.

 

I think after a bit of a wake-up call against Whyte, Joshua won't be fighting for a title till 2017. Chisora, Teper (if he beats Helenius), Haye (for the money) takes up 2016. He trains incredibly hard.

Parker will go hard at the IBF, looking for a mando against Martin/Glazkov, but is also looking to consolidate in the WBC. Looks like Ustinov in April, which is a good fight. A respected, big heavy with a 33-1 record (only loss to Pulev)
Parker trains 3x a day, 6 days a week, and is incredibly disciplined with his body.

Both fighters will be title shot ready early 2017. I can't wait for them to get in each others way.
I'm really hoping for an epic trilogy

Wilder with either of them is an exciting fight - insane number of KO's on those 3 records

Fury is still young, but once he makes money, will he want to train like those guys?
I hope he does and teaches them new skills in the ring.

Hughie doesn't seem to have any power (yet), but definitely some skill. The Fury's understand boxing.

Whatever happens, there are good times ahead in the heavyweight division.

You may be shocked by this answer, but I honestly think that Fury's unique combination of age, HEIGHT/LENGTH, PHYSICAL STRENGTH, athleticism, skills and pedigree give him the best chance of all the guys mentioned.

 

I absolutely don't think so, which is great - I think there could be some fun title swapping and generally exciting matches. I am really looking forward to the next few years of HW division action!

I've got a feeling Fury makes a few defences, providing he wins a Klitschko rematch, earns some serious money and just walks away.

I think these belts will change hands quite regularly once Fury hands them back or gets beat.
