Bute was/is all hype. Bute was protected and hidden away in canada fighting pure bums and near 50 year old featherweights. He is mentally weak despite his fanboys claiming different. All this talk about ward ducking him by wanting him to prove he belonged seems really dumb right now. just as dumb as all this talk about a rematch. It would end the same way only a round or two earlier. This isn't the andrade thing were bute won every round until he was knockedout, he was dominated, outclassed and proven to be in well above his pay grade. I have real doubts that he could even complete with the starting super-six.
Same thing I say about other boxing matches like this; we're judging Bute by the results of one fight which might be the most accurate way to assess a fighter's true ability. He still might be able to fight his way back into the limelight.
