You honestly think beating a Welter weight is a good win mate ? surley you are thinking from a nationalistic perspective ? for as a Boxing point of view this fight sounded like it sucked the bone .

    are you serious?

He isnt a 168er at the moment... and if he is considered a true 168 then he is well below his fighting weight.

A prime mike tyson would struggle to fight any welter at 154 because he would die making weight.

He is either a 154 or a bigger guy (he many years playing league at like 205!!!) who is underweight.

You can not have your cake and eat it too...

how would kesler go at 154?

Lol, I don't know whether to be impressed or saddened by your patriotism. Surely someone's character has to be considered when offering support?

Always good to support an Aussie but attitude, humility, bravery and a few other quality traits comes before where someone was born, IMO. I can appreciate we all have different criteria on why we support someone, out of interest what makes you a Choc fan apart from him being a proud (ok that's a bit contentious) Aussie?

Okay so if your comment is that he is wasting his talent that makes sense.

The comment about a 168 being taken the distance by a welter though is innacurate as he is definitely not a 168 fighter at the moment!!! any fighter his size would have struggled to weight in at 154 and be in the ring tonight. Seriously its not like he weighed in at 168...

Using the same logic kessler was taken 12 rounds by a junior middleweight. You cant have your cake and eat it too.

If though your comment is that the whole exercise is stupid then that is fine and we are on the same page!!!

I didnt mean to insinuate that he was 154 tonight but he was last night.

Who really knows what weight kessler comes in at when he fights SM.

Who really knows what weight Jerez came in at...

The point is that your statement about career decisions may be spot on

your statements relating to weight are hypocritical and contradictory. You cant call him a 168er when he is fighting at 154. Kessler would struggle big time at 154, so would most 168ers and everyone heavier than that.

How can you not see that?

He was the same weight as a grass hopper.

War the 88th ranked Argie welterweight throwing Choc around like a rag doll. :happy

Barry Michael. "The argie is ready to go, he's ready to go". Said that from about rd 4. If the fight was 130 rounds, he'd still hear the final bell. Was never fazed by the insect he was fighting.

Andy Raymond. Had a ringside seat and still couldn't see that Chocs is a washed up, dried up, shrivalled up bum now. But still has the audacity to say he can compete with the best. Utter ******.
