I don't know, with Amir you could at least see his face and that he was breathing, with Browne he went right on his face and didn't move at all.
Heavyweight boxing is getting to that point that when these guys are on the verge of exhaustion that some of the bombs that are landing might end lives. I guess heavyweight boxing has always been that way, but the dangers seem realer than ever in the current crop of body builder shaped fighters.
I don't know if the numbers support that though. To me, the fatalities seem to happen more often in the lower divisions. I assume it's related to the detrimental effects of severe weight cutting. But perhaps I'm entirely wrong.
Yeah Browne was exhausted, his corner should have stopped the fight before the savage KO. I won money on Whyte (not much) but Browne was in the worst shape I've seen him in. I've seen several of his fights too
