and yeah, Juan looked good last night...put on a clinic against a guy with a style that isn't Juan's cup of tea.
My worry is that a bigger fighter with much less ability could make the size pay.Khan falls into that category and he's not half the fighter JMM is. Rios,Guerrero(difficult fight)or Judah then Pac or Morales and off into the sunset with our eternal gratitude. Did anyone think JMM was blowing a bit hard at times last night? Know it doesn't mean a lot,but thought he looked a bit gassed on occasion.
Do they teach math in Mexico? 2-0-1. Roberto Mexico has no fighter in its boxing history thatis greater than pacquiao.
I don't know, Boomita..i don't live in Mexico. you are right on that score, bro...I have no problem with their first fight being a draw, and those 2 other wins being for Marquez of course...Majority of the boxing world knows it, even many Pinoys know it. As for your last comment...I have no problem agreeing with that...But then again, Phillipines greatest fighter of all time has been whooped by 2 mexicans who arent even in the top 5 Mexican ATG list. :deal
I remember seeing jmm miss alot of punches but looked like everything he was throwing was hard as if he put to much muscle into them. I wish i wasent drunk...good thing i watched the fights for free lol. O and fedenchko dancing what was that about.
Kind of an unimpressive performance coming off the Pacquiao fight. He looked a little old in there. JMM seems to have trouble attacking moving targets, especially with upperbody movement. You saw this with Floyd as well . He should have utilized more body shots and found a better angle for his punches to land. He should have gotten that guy out of there at some point.
Well he actually landed quite a number of shots to the body there. Marquez will rarely if ever look as good on the attack as he does countering, but he did well for himself considering Fedchenko had clearly studied him and went from being competitive to spoiling the fight.
