It's a good job only a few knobheads rushed into the rock hard mancs, wouldn't want 7 thousand scousers in hospital would we now...... In reality it could of got a lot worse than pints, coins and the odd kamikazee scouser. It was a shocking decision to allow manca & scousers to mix. Altho from where I was the security & police dealt with it well in the sense it didn't escalate into a full on brawl. Echo arena must rake it in behind the bar at the boxing tho so can't see things changing. Too many people think it's a pub.
To be fair there was only about a dozen max waiting for 3 cubicles but there was people queing from outside for the **** pots at one point,people couldnt wait they had to use the sinks. Funny thing is I walked out of that one and went to next one and it was virtually empty Nuff pints getting sunk,like others have said alcohol was deffo a contributing factor in the trouble I know when my my footy team play a local derby away the bar is closed and the fans arent even mixing Maybe the bar should be closed full stop at some boxing events if people cant behave
definately a lack of toilets, i ended up having to **** in my hand in the end,werent fussed though just chucked it at the mancs in front, was told it was the done thing in liverpool.
