I'll take Uchiyama over Fana. I am the original Acosta-hugger by the way. These guys are merely paper fans.

I can live with that, as long as I get to be the Underboss of the Mijares community.

So Soto and Antillon having a rematch? First fight was good, action packed, but I see no need of a rematch. Not a fan of Soto, but would love to see him fight a Acosta. If Linares does 135 Acosta vs Linares would be a dream!

It's actually quite funny reading through some of those posts in the thread with the Antillon-Acosta RBR and some other contemporary ones (from just before it, and older ones that got bumped afterward).

People had Antillon flagged as a future p4p star, while acknowledging in the same breath that he didn't have a whole lot of finesse. :yep Finesse matters.

He's a hell of an entertaining TV brawler, but the kid's career has already peaked and begun to sputter without much accomplishment on the world level.

Don't know who he's facing, but his stock definitely rose after that performance. It would be nice to see him on HBO BAD or ShoBox again soon.

Man, I want Soto to win the rematch, but I also don't want Antillon to become the next Rocky Juarez. Mainly because I got sick of watching Juarez, but I digress...

Amsterdam... you remember that Mass he had planned in honor of Mijares? Ah hell who am I kidding, I was shocked sh*tless at what Vic did to him. Glad he finally pieced a few wins together lately.

It's because nobody knew about him before he knocked out Antillon. And after that fight, he went to Africa to fight Moses and that fight was not televised. So, you really shouldn't be surprised at all. Also, before the Antillon fight, I don't even think there was any footage at all of Acosta on YouTube.

i recently saw that fight and acosta is a beast!!

noticed one thing about the rios fight, rios was blocking all the straight shots, acosta was using mad angles to land on rios from every direction!

I quite enjoy watching Acosta...Has shades of that fluid, defensive slickster style that a lot of his Venezuelan brethren had..A lot of Colombians were good at it aswell and of course the Panamanians were the benchmark.

But because he can't quite pull it off it makes for real good value stuff.
