Banks and Witherspoon aren't big bangers either, but good enough to land their punches wich clearly had a huge effect on Seth. I would be very surprised if Seth even lasts the distance against a guy like Glazkov, let alone beat him. I think you should just accept the fact that Mitchell wil never make big waves in the HW division and will probably become a gatekeeper for upcoming prospects if he continues his career.
Mitchell is a football player, not a boxer. Just because you're a good athlete doesn't mean you can jump sports and succeed on a top level. He's living proof of this. He was hyped terribly to begin with. Anyone watching his fights, even before Banks, could see that he was going nowhere.
K2 was trying to market Banks for a big $$$$ fight. So Loeffler said, those guys on the fringe, barking for a shot, should fight their NABO titlist. Mitchell, figured he'd get a title shot outta it. It was the right move, but his chin just wasnt in it.
Isnt known for big power????:huh:huh:huh Ummm....he was rocking Adamek with every shot he landed, and half the shots that Adamek blocked with his gloves. Malik Scott laid out the print on how to beat Glaskov......control range and smother his work inside. Adamek is a saavy veteran, and woulda got a substantial payday and a very REAL possibility of becoming a HW titlist if he beat Glaskov, and that saavy veteran with an ABOVE AVERAGE beard, great defense(head movement/range), and good power, could not win 5 rds off Glaskov who gave away the last 2 due to being gassed. Glaskov would blow Mitchell out of the water. Knock him clean outta the ring.:rofl
Witherspoon was a puncher, as was Ibragimov......he blew them both out, even with a few scares...... There was no way to know he was an incomplete fighter until Banks wobbled him with that CR hand. :huh
