He hasn't fought in nearly a year, just wondering if anyone knows what's up. Any ideas who/when his next fight is?
I thought he was Chad Dawson's Mandatory. I think he is just waiting for a shot. I don't think he is injured. He seems intent on waiting for his opportunity at the 175 pound title.
yep thats exactly wat he's doing and its really dissapointing he should be keeping active and fighting more often maybe on espn or shobox. at the end of the day dawson isnt gonna fight him cause theres no money in the fight its up cloud to make a name for himself and bring some money to the table and he can only do this by fighting more. man he's got one really **** promoter :-(
Seconded. Dawson has shown that he's willing to vacate a belt before in order to avoid an unknown fighter. Also, Cloud certainly has the style that were he to stay busy on smaller televised fights he would be able to drum up the sort of support that would most probably lead to a Dawson fight. HBO spent most of the postfight session a few days ago discussing how there is such a dearth of light heavyweight talent; they would love for someone like Cloud to make himself a viable opponent for their new investment.
Dawson is apparently vacating and going down to 168 for money fights. Cloud will fight Clinton Woods for vacant title.
