Any word on who is next for Pavlik?

Will be one off Martinez, Sturm or Bute at 168lbs.

Williams is out of action until May/June.

preferably a mw. the bute fight should not happen now. if a pav/bute fight is built up properly then it could be a monster. and by built up properly i mean pav moving up and fighting some decent comp and bute beating whoever wins the steiglitz fight and then the two meeting somewhere close to the end of the super six w/ the winner of the S6 fighting the winner of pav/bute. there is plenty of time to make pav/bute the right way. no sense in rushing it now.

from what i understand, pav won't be doing any weight jumping like he used to. if and when he fights again above the mw level it will be b/c there was a decision to properly put the weight on and become a true smw instead of just bloating up for a fight like he has in the past.

and from what i understand from boo, sturm has signed a new 10 fight deal w/ a german market so its hard for me to see sturm wasting all that money by getting whipped by pav in one of the first fights into that new contract.

At any rate, I fully expect Martinez to shock Pav. He is no Espino, that's for sure. And his style is even worse for Pav than Williams' style is.
