According to Fight News.com Sports Network have won the purse bids for the proposed Arthur v Guzman fight.

So Arthur gets home advantage and the proposed venues for the fight are said to be either Glasgow, Edinburgh or London.

A tentative date of 26th April 2008 was mentioned.

Apparently they must now sign contracts within 10 days - if Guzman doesn't sign Arthur will become the Champion and if Arthur doesn't sign Guzman will have no commitment to face him.

    Ditto

Edinburgh has the facilities needed, and it would get a crowd for sure...from all over

Guzman will not travel so I guess AAA will be gifted the belt.

    Guzman wont sign.

Arthur will be crowned champ and then have to defend against Kevin Mitchell in the 02 stadium.

All part of Warrens plan if you ask me.

I guess he is a bit like B.A. Baracus from the A-Team or Dennis Bergkamp. The guy just does not like travelling by air.
