Hotels in Vegas can work out very cheap and great value. I stayed in Monte Carlo in January this year and it was only something like $40 per night. The buffets are legendary - do lunch buffets - it is nearly half the price Flight costs vary - generally the earlier you book the cheaper it is....
There is a food area in the Monte Carlo that do slices of Pizza to die for... Not your conventional slice you would get over here...You could choke a donkey with these!!!!... at $4 it's a right Bobby Dazzler, £2.75?? They got there money out of me!!!... stayed at the Monte Carlo for the Hatton v Pac Man fight...a top hotel, really well located for everything, think we paid the same price too.
You know when people say "if you're playing on a machine you get free drinks" etc, what happens, do you just sit down, play and someone will come over asking what you want? You give em a little tip so they keep coming back? Sounds good to me!
Yeah - the Monte Carlo is great value and excellent location - I was in that food court in Monte Carlo - didnt try the pizza though. I have also stayed at the MGM, Bellagio (got an upgrade - amazing room), Treasure Island (another excellent affordable option with great location), Paris (stayed here for the millenium - great night) etc... Been to Vegas loads of times. The international buffet in Hotel Rio is hard to beat. Gotta go again next year:good
yep - they will be over to you to offer you drinks if you are gambling - but to be honest - once you tip them and then lose on the machines - the drinks are expensive!!
And you are stuck sat at a gambling machine. I'd rather pay for the drinks and be at the bar or round a table having a crack with my mates.
I'm looking at flight prices right now :yep If only Leeds had a decent airport rather than that shower of **** up at Yeadon. Once came back from Dublin and felt like falling out of the sky....... then nearly went off the end of the ****ing run way :-(
When I went to Amsterdam we went on the ferry from Newcastle. ****ing quality on there, we had a right couple of nights on the ale...... a couple of us made a shitload on the roulette by moving the chips whilst the dealer wasn't looking, bought about four or five rounds - there was 30 of us mind :yep I didn't catch no action as I was seeing a bird at the time, one of the lads dived right in and scored with this seriously stunning bird..... then about five minutes after he left a queue formed outside her window - you just couldn't.... not after about five have steamed in just before you :-(
No mate!! I meant Amsterdam is a good place to get to other places from. If you can get to Amsterdam straight from Leeds then you can go to Chicago and then onto Vegas. When I went it was quicker to go from Liverpool to Amsterdam and fly from there to the USA than to drive down to Heathrow.
