I think that you can fly to Las Vegas via Amsterdam... Fly on the Thursday with an overnight stay in Amsterdam with a direct flight to Las Vegas on the Friday...That is a cracking trip... We looked at it for the Calzaghe v Hopkins fight, but decided against it..I think that I will give it a whirl in the future....:good

The downside is that you will miss the weigh in...

flights for pac cotto for me worked out very cheap, stopping in philly return was 420 euro, mgm grand hotel was pretty cheap too

my advice is try cut back on the hotel and flights expense and get yourself very good seats, i spent 750 dollars on my seat for pac cotto and still was thinking damn i should of spent the 1000 to get even better

How did you find the MGM? Ive seen mixed reviews, location aint great, too big etc but on the other hand people say the location is fine just not perfect and its a great place.

i thought it was ok. yeah its far away from main part of the strip but you get the monorail everywhere, round ticket is 5 dollars, its pretty big alright it takes around 2 days to kind of get to grips with where everything is and where you are, its good as you are getting the build up to the fight all week, weigh in and press conferences all take place there so its handy as you dont need to travel far on the wed, fri and sat

Apparently it wont be in the MGM because its too small!!
They are looking at either constructing a 30,000 stadium via one of the casinos.. or apparently arum has said The Dome in new orleans may be a possability because of its 70,000 cappacity and the fact they can bend tax rules..
I wouldnt buy any flights etc just yet guys!

id be surprised if it wasnt in the mgm, it can nearly hold 17,500 i have read the rumours that its too small but the mgm will up its price to stage the event, 70,000 is just too big and an outdoor temporary stadium is dodgy, if people start booking flights now they are crazy

check boxrec because you never know, there might be a small show on worth watching, when i was in vegas for pac cotto samuel peter was supposed to fight at the hard rock casino on the friday but i got way too pissed for the weigh in and forgot to go
