Haven't seen a thread on young Master Luke's outing on Saturday, so thought I'd ask the question.

Won every sec of every round vs game oppo. He looks ****ing huge and threw lots. Hard to tell but to stop moises takes some

Got to agree with the bit about his size at the moment, he has really filled out and looks very strong at the weight. My only criticism would be that he is not nasty enough for my liking. Threw some very quick clusters of combinations but they liked spite.

Peter Fury wasn't impressed from what i saw on twitter. I saw bits and pieces but it was boring in fairness..

Moises was happy to be there, He landed the odd punch but Campbell is well above that level. But there's some parts of his game Peter and some posters made comment on that need developing.

Very amateurish by Camble just then wasting punches in mid air

@buzzer1999 yes don't need rushing though

Good talent but needs to transition from amature to pros.

His problem is he can't move to the right too good to step over. Needs much work with feet.

i have had a few rows regarding Luke C,it seems locally he can do no wrong! just turn up and beat a kid that it 10 leagues below and everythings rosey!

in my opinion he is regressing ,i dare say his sparring is 10 times better quality than his actual fights.

meanwhile Lomochenko who is at a similar age and stock is fighting for a world title

Locally I would say that Tommy Coyle is far more popular than Luke with fight fans. The reception Luke got compared to Tommy's on Saturday confirmed that for me. Don't get me wrong Luke got a fantastic reception but the reception for Tommy was phenomenal

Coyle is literally punching above his weight...

Campbell is fighting lads that sould not be in ring with him..he has learnt zero in the fights since turning pro..as i said before its about keeping his 0 i reckon.

whatever people think of Khan he was pushed into fights and had to learn quick.Campbell will be 30 before he gets a Commonwealth chance at this rate

Khan demanded it. Wanted to be our youngest world champion so the pressure was on Frank and to Fisheyes credit he delivered although it was very smart matchmaking in terms of either guys he knew had seen better days or Khan facing SFW's.

Prescott was the moment of madness. Especially when it was Khan on SBO debut!.

I worry Campbell will not pipe up and Eddie will feed him area level fighters for another 6 months. That's the difference Khan wanted to step up asap i'm not sure Luke's that type of go getter character. More ''Okay Ed, I be there..''

Especially when Eddie tried say Moises beat Mitchell Smith and Smith's 21 anyways.

Problem for Hearn is he has a majority of the Lightweights under his wing. Some Campbell IMO isn't ready for and others he doesn't want to feed to him.

If i was Eddie i'd put Campbell in with Hamilton next if the above is the case. Fight wouldn't be for a title now meaning it can be a weight that's not as rigid and Hamilton will be awkward and competitive fight for Luke.

Clearly Eddie wasn't happy with Hamilton on Saturday and looked p'd off when scorecards were read out. I think he feels like he's been flogged a dead horse (his own fault).

My synopsis was / is that Campbell isn't the blue chip he's perceived to be. Yes, lots of tangible skills in his column, but he's not that good. And in context I mean that in comparison to fighters who have competed at the top of the ama game and won Olympic Gold medals, Luke Campbell at this moment in time does not look like an emerging stand out talent of world boxing. Thats just my opinion.

I watched John Quigley box Moises and I can honestly say, aside from the fact Luke bombed him a little bit with greater size and fire power, I believe little John Quigley (who's a Featherweight) handled him much better.

Yeah i feel same way about Luke. Just don't see a dazzling star. He's got a lot of advantages over his current opponents. When he starts meeting guys who are full time pro's who are in great condition and have their own skills to bring to table he may start to find himself getting hit, hurt and ultimately beaten.

Clearly a talented lad but possibly being set up for a fall..

I thought personally he was quite one dimensional, he kept throwing a jab or double jab then the left hand its quick but very predictable needs to use a different variety of shots to open opponents up.

He needs to improve his variety if he is going to be world champion and he needs to start stepping up a little bit quicker, lets hope for a better opponent in Manchester but I doubt it !
