My current favorite fighter. I hope he steps up soon. He won't beat Usyk but he could beat Parker, Ortiz, and Whyte at this stage

Based on what? Beating a plodder who only ever had a puncher's chance? He's not as elusive or slick as you think he is. His opponents to date have greatly flattered him.

    Fury beats him.
    AJ beats him.
    Usyk beats him.
    Wilder beats him.
    Whyte beats him.
    Hunter beats him.
    Chisora beats him.
    Parker beats him.
    Ruiz beats him.
    Gassiev beats him.
    Joyce beats him.

That's 11 right there... nope, sorry, he doesn't crack the top 10.

I want him to fight Joyce next

Joyce is #2 at WBC and Sanchez is #5

Quite frankly, two of his fellow Cubans, Jose Larduet and Yuniel Dorticos probably beat him as well. Wouldn't write off old man Ortiz either.

    Ruiz LOL

Lets agree to disagree, Ajagba sucks yes but Sanchez showed them levels as he should. He's getting better and better. He'll be in the top 10 soon

What are you LOLing about? Ruiz has lost to AJ and Parker barely. Cut back on the boozed up eggnog. Frank Sanchez has beaten no one who can cut the ring off as well as an shape and determined Ruiz. Ruiz leaves him pissing himself, crumpled in a pile in the corner.

That diabetic taco shop owner Ruiz is lucky Arreola was 40 and shot to bits. He would've found a good place to snore on the canvas had that mediocre Arreola been in his prime. The fact that he KO'd Joshua and made him quit says more about Joshuas brittle styrofoam temple, weak chin and no heart than it does about Ruiz's ability. Parker is okay but it's clear he's better now. He'd give Ruiz a good beating as would Chisora and anybody else in the top 10 minus Joshua

Ruiz will be nothing more than a gatekeeper soon. Being thrown in the fire with upcoming talents like Hrgovic and Makmudov and getting dismantled in the process. If Ruiz and Sanchez weren't on the same team I'd love to watch Sanchez just toy with that blob

Even with a boring style you can still see the talent of a fighter. Imma have to agree with CST here and say that he doesn’t beat any of the top ten

There's a whole lot of assuming in this post, yet very little evidence to back anything you said up. Arreola won one maybe two rounds, and still has the power to hurt most opponents. Ruiz got reckless and paid for it, then he adjusted and beat his ass for the rest of the fight. I see nothing that says Parker has improved, he added an uppercut to his repertoire against Chisora, that's it. He was still sluggish, still took breaks, still got rocked a time or two, still a terrible finisher. Sure AJ is frail, but it still doesn't change the fact that Ruiz outboxed him the first time around, it was not a fluke.

On the subject of Sanchez beating Ruiz. Quite frankly, it wouldn't shock me if Cristobal beat Sanchez before Ruiz ever gets to him. He's garbage. Deal with that or open yourself up to being bitterly disappointed.

Meh, very much style over substance. I think because he’s Cuban and kind of looks like he has skills, he gets more attention than he deserves. He reminds me of that Cuban guy at light heavy who Ward and Bivol beat up. Just a stylish average fighter.

Which means you won't be coming back to this. Frank has got to be pushing 45, time's a wasting. Maybe if we're lucky he'll actually get in the ring with somebody Helenius level by years end.
