At least that's my opinion

 

Seen him for the first time in his last fight was it on the fury/wilder undercard. The guys talented. The problem is hes also boring for the casual fan. Will end up with the same problem ortiz had. He,ll be avoided in much the same way.

The cuban style breaks my heart...its a beautiful style but its a flawed one. Its almost like they found it in a book but the book was only half finished. Countering its perfect....on the back foot its perfect.

But when the level goes up people give them less to counter and thats where the style falls apart...on the front foot. If they could find the perfect balance between countering and front foot fighting....then they,d be on to something.

Someone needs to teach ghe kid that before its 5 yearsdown the line and hes struggling to get big names in the ring with him and fans arent shouting for him for the big fights enough. Excitement changes it all for him.

The problem was in that fight the opponent stopped punching because he knew how vulnerable he was to ssnchez,s very good countering....then they spent a lot of that fight waiting. People in big numbers dknt wsnt to watch that.
