Anybody Else Commending Margo For Not Fighting Mosley?

I dont know...the deal was almost done...Would have been a fun fight. But, i'm not ready to ***** Margo for that. Now, i hope that YOU are not bitching every fighters for doing that...except Margarito.

 

On another thread I said Tony needs to rematch Cotto and Williams. Shane is no longer important.

 

I am a fan of both for different reasons, Mosly should retire, he had a great career, he should think of his health.

 

i hate all this kneejerk reactionary stuff. it's not like fraud avoiding margo or anything :yep

Margarito bails out on Mosley and you think it's a good decision.

Please tell me who he'll fight next and if that opponent will be better than Mosley - cause I seriously doubt it.

I'm pretty sure we'll all be on here asking why he's fight TBA - who's undeserving. I guess he'll take a much easier fight - for less money - to ensure the Cotto rematch.

But all of this comes after Margarito talked some ****. Mosley called his bluff and look what happened.

 

Shane is the guy who prior to KOing Mayorga stretched Cotto to his limits. Mayorga has been stopped by 3 men in his entire career and fought pretty damn good competition and This old, faded, washed up version of Shane is one of them. I love how all of a sudden Margo is on par with a prime tyson in some of your minds. Clottey survived, Williams survived, Santos won. Mosley is not Cotto, he is more durable and stronger and faster, more seasoned and experienced. Styles make fights and everyone knows the [If A>B and B>C then A>C] equation doesn't work in boxing.

 

Margarito initiated all the talks about a Mosely fight in the first place

 

Instead of $2 million for Mosely, he may as well wait a while and fight Hoya for $10 million.

 

I think SSM vs Margo might look like Bhops vs pavlik BUT SSM is definetly past it and should retire, maybe he can fight one last time against Clottey but he really needs to hang em up before he loses to another fighter like Cotto that he would have starched in his prime.

 

Hoya will NOT fight margo, simply because margo is NOT a draw, Hoya will either look to retire after Pac or go after Hatton IMO.
