Anybody Else Commending Margo For Not Fighting Mosley?

No I hear ya. And this is probably one of those situations where I'd get caught up and convince myself Mosley can win.....then watch him take a beating, feel like **** and insult Margo for fighting a washed up fighter instead of Williams atsch

 

Wait wait, so now Mosleys faded?

Fact is. margo had a career high payday and to add another big name on the lacking resume and he turned it down because he wants more money.

 

I hope Margo doesn't become the next Winky Wright.

 

He did look like absolute **** in that fight. one punch and then falling in. I honestly turned the fight off I thought it was so bad, then flipped back and watched the last round. I felt like I was watching amateurs fight after the Forbes/Berto fight.

 

I think most people are giving him **** because he CALLED OUT Mosley, then Mosley accepted, HBO offered 4 mill to split and he decides to hide out and not accept or decline the fight. Too me, thats being a *****, and I like Margo. If he didn't want to fight him, don't call him out. And maybe Mosley would have gotten his ass kicked, but maybe he would have suprised alot of people like Hopkins did against Pavlik. We will never know.

 

Couldn't agree more. I'm bored of the old guys getting fights they don't deserve. On recent form, there's no way Jones deserved a fight with the world p4p#3. There's no way Holyfield deserves yet another title shot, he didn't even deserve the last one v Ibragimov. And there's no way Mosley deserves a fight against Margarito after losing to Cotto and being **** against Mayorga. I'd like to see Margarito fight Williams or Clottey, a young hungry strong opponent in a 50-50 clash.

 

Commend?? :huh No.....but understand, yes. Shane is still relevant so saying that the fight is meaningless doesn't make sense but Marg is looking to make money and a future DLH is possible if he defeats Manny.

Why should Marg be commended for wanting to fight DLH and not wanting to fight Shane? Sure Money is a factor but in terms of relevance both Shane and DLH are two of the best 147 out there behind guys like Paul Williams, Cotto, ect.

 

im still wating for top rank anouncement on this i think margo will ko mosley i dont think his afraid of mosley its a great oportunity to showcase his abilitys against a future hall of famer , margo has had 2 hard figths so he deserves an easy one imo

I dont think Margo will be able to avoid him anyway...Shane will most likely upset Berto (maybe) and if he does that would make him champion and a possible bout with more money and a unification in the mix...

we'll see his true colors in that event...

 

Upset Berto? If Berto beat Shane....that would be the upset. At this stage Berto is not going to beat Shane.

 

Mosley is still top5 in the division.

Actually most people think Collazo is a tough fight for Berto, and Mosley schooled Collazo with one hand behind his back.
