    Agree.

    Regardless of training/preparation Jones will never regain the form of old. Calzaghe knows this which is why he has decided to take the fight.

    So we are supposed to manufacture higher levels of anticipation and interest are we?
    Some fights are highly anticipated because they are a great style matchup(eg Ward-Gatti),others because they are highly significant in the division and the sport(Holyfield-Lewis);
    Some are both(Margo-Cotto, for instance)
    This has none of the above.NONE.
    Sit back and enjoy the show? But i dont envisage the show being up to much so its difficult.
    BTW,I only asked if others were indiferrent as well,i didnt call for a boycott. If others are looking forward to it great.I just wondered if i was the only one who wasnt.Im not.:good

    I'm interested personally Jones may not have his cat like reflexes anymore but he does still have the ability to punch well so if it's on ppv, i'll sopcast the fight with intrigue and interest.

    Yep,i will watch it,but its not a 'counting down the days' fight by any stretch.
    I give Roy a Good shot by the way.I think he will be the puncher here.

    It'll be a hell of a lot better than the Hopkins fight, that is for sure.

    I vowed not to watch any Jones fight live after the Johnson KO, and I haven't. Calzaghe is going to smash him to bits, while Roy sits against the ropes. Hope I'm wrong, but Roy hasn't looked strong and fresh at 175 since 2002!

    That version of Jones is long gone.

    I'll most likely watch it, but I'm not all excited about it.

    I mean, it's good for Roy to get his final shot, good for Calzaghe to get another 'name' on his resume....and the fans are the ones who lose the most.

    I think I can hype/lie this to my non-die hard friends to chip in :yep, but I reckon we'll spend $50 and get a lacklustre fight with Jonesy hanging too much on the rops playing D. But I'm hoping for the best.

    Yeah, I'm feeling no hype for this one...I just think RJJ is capable of too little to make it an interesting fight, and I can't back Calzaghe because I know it's purely about the cash and an easy mark as well.

    Thankfully there are better upcoming fights to gain my attention.

    I plan to goto the fight since its at the Garden ...The place should be jumping with all the Welsh fans so it should be an entertaining fight none the less.
