Yeah, but that's boxing for you. The man has a bit of a mountain to climb now.

Agreed 100% Anybody think he coul possibly appear on Friday Night Fight's in the future if he faces a journeyman? I don't know if HBO would want to televise him against another journeyman or not.

....there's no shame in the way Cotto fought. He went out on his shield like a true warrior. He was just fighting a damn near indestructible guy.

he should have watched Kessler-Andrade. If he could carry it out he would have won.

To be honest, I've never been more disappointed after one of my fav. fighters lost than I am at this very moment. But thats boxing, no one is superman.

I feel bad for Cotto's son, crying like that after seeing his dad get stopped.

A little, I'll still love him (no homo) after this defeat. He will make his way back to the top since he's a warrior and thats what true warriors do.

Nope I don't feel bad. This was too much for Cotto and the truth about his stamina, heart, and chin were all exposed in this fight. This was completely expected. There's nothing to feel bad about. This is reality.

Yeah. It was sad seeing Cotto bloodied up and his family crying. But that's boxing. Can't win them all.

Though I was wrong about Cotto winning you are wrong yourself. His Heart and Chin was exposed? He ate many hard/flush shots and continued fighting, This also says alot about his heart. The only thing that proved to fail Cotto was his stamina...

He got involved in a great match up, and lost. Respect for Cotto for taking the fight!
