I still think that 140 is his ideal fighting division. Imagine the fights to be made: Maidana, Matthyse, Garcia. Exclude Khan as he will get his china-chin shattered to smithereens.

The heart, tenacity, strength, grittiness, great chin and will to win he showed, was amazing. He showed good skills against a limited fighter with a terrible corner. He employed a great strategy which was to press the attack early.

I thought Guerrero would win, because he had the much better tool box, and the intangible's, i.e. his wife's sickness, a recent fight. He will, however, be overrated in his next fight against good opposition.

He was beating Berto in the center of the ring, but took it to the ropes over and over again. Those Berto uppercuts always found home. He needs to work on defense on the inside. People will forget that Berto was coming off a long lay off, that Berto's power was mostly showcased against sub par opponents, and that his chin is not the best.

It was a Great performance, and a solid win!

Oh boy.. We have a newbie here.

Guerreros ''boxing brain'' was masterful. He did what he had to beat Berto. You didn't understand that everything he did took Berto out of his game? Berto can't fight inside and Guerrero took everything out of that. Oh dear :hi:

I think Guerrero also knew that Berto underestimated him. I was impressed that Guerrero took no feeling out time. He went right in! He studied the tape, he put in the work, and he was ready to go!

Berto was embarrassed by the end of the fight. He probably thought "There is no way that this light weight can hurt me...think I'll try that Mayweather ****."

Well I thought Guerrero would win so not really although he did go about it in a different manner than I thought he would.

Guerrero always got a lot of hate on here and I never understood why.

I favored him to beat Berto. He did it more easily and impressively then i thought he would. Also i knew he got a great chin but he really proved it against berto.

I like the fact that he ain't let Berto make it boring. Robert forced Berto to fight whether he wanted to or not. He knew he needed to make a statement in the fight and did it by roughin up a bigger guy. He'd do better chasin Devon or Paulie for their belts if he wanna stay at WW. Tim too, he could win that fight.
