If Britain, US will have a hard time watching the fight... its where the PPV stock will be really low.

If Phils... **** we have a f*ck up economy... why bother.

    Why?

I'm not sure why it would be so 'hard' for US fans to watch a sporting event at 5pm. I mean I know the Americans don't play international sports like most of the rest of the world, so don't have that culture of watching big sporting events out of primetime (as a Brit, for example, I've watched England play in the World Cup in Japan - games at 7am, or Mexico - games at midnight. I've watched rugby matches from New Zealand at 7am. Cricket matches from Australia between midnight and 7am), but 5pm is hardly a trial.

But in any case, plenty of UK fights have been staged for US tv (Calzaghe v Kessler, Hatton v Tszyu, Haye v Maccarinelli were all around 2am UK time, 9pm EST), so no reason why this one couldn't be.

There us no point having these mega fights in Vegas when the seating capacity is so low. Hatton vs Pac should be in the UK or the Philippines.

I hate the Vagas fights because I have to wake up at 3am in the morning. I prefer the fights in the east coast because they start at around midnight.

If ANY human being deems the sporting event worthy enough, they will get up at any hour to watch it.

I woke up/stayed up for USA when they played in the 2002 World Cup.

Overall, I'm not that sick of the big fights being in LV.

I usually go to Atlantic City and the Connecticut casino's, Mohegan and Foxwoods at least once per year each.

I bet if that world cup was on PPV, it would have done terrible numbers though.

Sure, boxing geeks will watch the fight, whatever time it starts, but the casual, seasonal boxing fan sure wouldnt.

The PPV companies are courting the casual fans, theyre not courting the boxing addicts. To them, you are considered as an automatic PPV, sold.
