I really thought Jack edged that. Degale threw a lot of combos but hit a lot of gloves for me.

    Great fight though.

Well done mate, I thought it might be a draw earlier today but I didn't back it up with a bet.

I think Jack just got it on the last round but no robbery.

The Smith fight would be interesting simply cos Smith's size. I thought Jack looked stronger Degale couldn't keep him away.

Had it a draw going into last round so obviously then had Jack up 1. But am content with the draw.

Great fight, what a way to start the year!

What happens with Callum Smith now?

That's what I thought. Jack's single shots seemed to have more effect and DeGale couldn't really land much clean. He was busy though which I think got him a lot of close rounds.

I feel sorry for Smith. I don't know the rules but I'm assuming that since this was a draw and because unification fights get precedence over mandatories, a unification rematch would be given precedence over Callum's shot.

It all depends on whether Jack is true to his word and moves up now.

Smith must be gutted. If Jack vacates Smith challenges for the title I assume?

Maybe Jack will agree to a rematch and make weight if Eddie puts up a big payday to bring him here?

Great fight, De Gale was very fortunate to get a draw. I scored it 113-113. But it was clear after the fight who got the worse beating. De Gale is going to need some time to get over that beating and needs to visit a dentist too.

Jack beat him up in the 6th and 8th. Knocked him up and around the ring. He also caught him on the inside with some hard shots at other points. Whilst many of De Gales shots were slappy shots from a distance.

De Gale will be happy with the draw, and Jack moves up to 175.
