I agree 100% with this. I do like DAZN but feel like they are still finding there way. HBO as a production was the ****!

HBO had the worst commentary. I couldn't stand them. I hated that I had to turn the volume a bit down.

The only commentator worth anything was Roy Jones.

Fighters make some of the best commentators. They have the vital in ring experience.
Of course not every fighter should do it *cough*Sergio Mora*cough*.

    Take that back right now!
Paulie is one of the best out there. He might be a ****, but he is really good at his job.

Thread started well but soon turned into what it really is, an anti DAZN thread.

HBO was the best. Always was. It wasn’t til Floyd went over to showtime n the whole Cold War crap that anybody questioned HBO’s superiority and it had nothing to do with any actual broadcasting issues. Morons starting choosing sides and fighters were in the background and ESB members argued more over promotional companies and networks and the Floyd/Haymon fans started dumping on HBO out of some misplaced sense of loyalty to their favorite boxer. A ridiculous time and some of the arguments here on a daily basis were to moronic to be put into words. No existing company comes close HBO’s production value. I’m not hating on showtime or dazn or espn, just saying that HBO was the best and while I’ll obviously love watching fights on any platform I will and already do miss the fights on HBO.

HBO was great but couldn't stand Max Kellerman and Roy Jones so so biased. I agree Jim Lampley and Steward were great!

DAZN production feels so cheap compared to HBO and Showtime.
