Anybody else think buncey's show was sloppy and amateurish yesterday?

Lewis is far and away the best post-war British fighter.

The Tyson ref was a joke - just like the DeNiro and Raging Bull reference. Get it... A bit of irony...who should he fight? Why not Tyson. Do you get it now? Please tell me that you do?
And as for Ottke...well, he was one of the guys that Joe is charged with avoiding. So, Ottke beats Mitchell but it is controversial and then gets banged out by Joe. That has to reflect well on Joe. Shirley you can see that?
Gym shots not my fault - I'm against any outside filiming unless it is with a proper camera and proper cameraman. People have moaned about the lack of 'outside' interviews. Well, this is why. The show is a bit daft but there is - trust me - a high standard involved. There will be no more outside films that fall short in quality.

    Adios.

some of you lot need to get real, what did we have before the boxing hour, and before setanta for that matter. i like the fact that the show seems like its been put together in 15 minutes, it like a soccer am for boxing.

gotta say though buncey, was lsitening to 5 live yesterday and you were talking the whole time about promoters and mostly fighters becoming promoters, and nobody mentioned hayemaker once. what was that about???

It wasn't as sloppy as the way Frank Warren allows the career of pretty much all his fighters stagnate shockingly badly.

#19. Haye was dropped because of time. We ran out of it!
The Barrera metal head mystery was fantastic. We have it solved!

Fine. By the way the criticism is needed. The more the merrier. The show is not yet the finished article. Somebody mentioned Soccer AM which is about 13 years old. Have you ever seen early Soccer AM shows from the first year or two? They are dreadful. It's a miracle that is survived. Also, it had a f/t staff and production and set.
The men and women and boys and girls at Setanta News break their backs to get my show up on air each week. They deserve some credit ... remember they have to work with me!

    Adios.

Wasnt meant as a personal attack on you or the show(can you personally attack a show?),just pointing out it wasnt as 'slick' as normal, but i know the rough edges are part of its charm.
Saying a donkey is a thoroughbred(even if only for one week) isnt the ESB way.
The Shirley thing was a 'joke' BTW.

My only main criticism is the camerawork at times, which isn't the best.

I would like to see the show given a more flexible slot - starting at 2pm of course with the usual repeat times. By that, I mean..... depending on what you have to get through or what fights are upcoming, the show is an hour, hour and half, or two hours long.

I am a big rugby fan, both league and union, and have noticed that sometimes the shows are of varying length.

Sometimes there isn't a lot to discuss, and everything is done at length. Other times, especially this week, you had a lot of people on, plenty to discuss and had to rush to get everything in.

On Soccer AM, I have always felt it was crap, still do. Boots n All (the RL show) was a joke show for a bit, before it got good, then went crap, and is now good again.

The only consistent shows for an individual sport are 'Rugby Club', 'Sunday Supplement' and 'Goals on Sunday'. For a pretty new show Setanta are doing a good job.

Any criticism has to be put into perspective IMO.

I liked it. I reckon it sometimes gets a bit hectic in the studio due to the fact they are trying to fit in as much a possible in an hour with 3 advert intervals, not to mention trying to read out as many of our texts and emails as they can.

I enjoyed the show and a Bunce's big up yours to Joe's detractors was welcome in my house
Dwilsons right about Sutherland he looked the nerd from the late night internet cafe:lol:Not an intimidating bruiser.
The Galaxxy Warrior wasn't very forthcoming either but what can you do?
The gym thing was a bit
Strangely enough the show cut off half way 'cos the missus had cancelled the Sky+ halfway to watch .........that waste of energy resources Eastenders!!

The Bunce hour is one of two shows I watch on a regular basis it's a
    necessity!

    Agree entirely

Criticism / debate about what is actually said on the show is fair game, that's the whole point of it I suppose

Mithering on about 'camera work' is just bollocks IMO

It's a rough diamond but I'd rather have it that way than have some sanitised, slick Sky Sports effort

show was good this week, i think the unpredictability of the show adds to why its so good

as for the complaints about the camera work who gives a toss

A bit of organized chaos is good in a show like that.
