Anybody else think the cut gave mab an honourable way out?

Then blame Barrera for swinging his head wildly. Cut or no cuts, Khan would still win the fight.

Even if it continued Khan still would have won but by TKO insted of a TD.

it wouldnt khan would of had to drop him to do that .no matter what round it would have got stopped in after the fourth it was still because of an accidental clash and would of gone to scorecards. before the fourth it would of been a no contest

Khan was in the driver's seat from the opening bell.

The cut was a blessing for MAB.

(Of course, with his chin, you can never be certain)

khan looked sharp but man...he got wobbled a couple times in that fight. he has all the tools but anyone who gets into the ring with him has the chance to land that one punch that puts the kid out.

My point was that the cut didn't change anything as to how the fight was progressing.

It's not as if they were feeling each other out, or Barerra was the agressor or Khan was hanging back, and BAM, the cut came along and changed everything.

Khan was all over Barerra from the get-go.

With his shakey chin, we can't be certain what would happen. But given how things started, I believe Barerra was in for a rough night.

i dissagree barrera was able to slip khans jab at first when he could still see it its impossable and ignorent to say this fight would be one sided even without the cut 33 stitches thats a realy bad cut

Barrera aint gonna have a next fight. Whatever he said in the interview, deep down he knows he aint got what it takes anymore. He's a smart man and has made enough money already.

I agree it 's impossible to know with certainty what would have happened had it continued.

But there is no doubt whatsoever that for the two minutes that it did progress without the cut, Khan was in complete Dominance of Barerra, controlling the ring and the action. He landed the better shots and far more of them and had Barerra backed up at every turn.

MAB looked disappointed to me, when he realised the fight would be stopped. I think had the cut not occurred, he'd have fancied his chances to clock Khan at some stage, whether rightly or wrongly. Lest we forget, he buzzed Khan twice...but Khan did manage to do well each time.
