Anybody else think the Haye/Klitschko confrontation was staged ??!

So i finally got around to seeing the clip of Haye confronting Wlad in London. To me it looks staged. I have a feeling a a fight is already pencilled in somewhere down the line something similar to the whole Hatton//Mayweather fight which was planned for years and they are trying to get fans built up for it. And then to top it off Haye is allegedly fighting on the Klitschko/Thompson undercard against Rahman or McCall. The whole Haye/Klitschko situation is obviously a puiblicity stunt, they are both clever guys and just trying to maximise the profits a fight between them would make. Also Haye is without promotion at the moment, do people think there is any chance he could sign for K2 ??? .. thoughts ?

Its exactly what I thought when I saw it first.

Cant blame then cos it will probably add a couple of million to their purses if they eventually fight.

yeh I have emntioned in a previous thread that I think that. Its common knowledge they went for dinner a few night previous to the confrontation, and they had both been on tv talking about each other.

02 Arena next summer. I will 100% be there!

This is what I've been saying from the start. These are two very smart blokes and both know they'll have to work hard to drum up any interest in the USA for a Euro vs. Euro fight.

i think one key giveaway is the fact that Klitschkos smiling throughout Haye's quite confrontational approach.if it had happened unplanned, off the cusp and Vlad was subject to normal human emotions he would surely react with abit more hostility.

im not too sure, i mean there was so many press around the two and that ciaran baynes posted the confrontation on youtube as if he knew it was gonna happen as he was right in the action and on top of it for good filming. altho when you listen to hayes voice you can hear the adrenaline fueled speech and he swears completely out of context so im not so sure and wlad just keeps tryin 2 leave. also you can randomly see adam booth in the background with a beanie hat on. now you tellin me tht they hang around 2getha all the time even when haye aint in trainin???

I may have been preplanned, but you never know. I doubt it was planned. I think Wladimir is more legit and professional than to stoop to something like that.. he's selling well enough without having to preplan a confrontation for a fight that won't even happen til next year, if at all.
