had taylor comfortable ahead, as i recall, i had taylor ahead by 4 or 5 going into the last round. Froch might have thrown more, but in general he hit thin air and gloves, while taylor landed the cleaner shots. eventhough i have symparhy for taylor, as he boxed really well for the majority of the fight, im glad froch won and in spectacular fashion. Froch wont be holding the belt hostage, he will be a much better champ, as he has the desire and hunger to challenge himself. Furthermore its going to be easier to make fights with froch, as he isnt included in the american circle of fighters, who seeks to fight each other.
I had it 105-103 to Taylor going into the last round. I remember one of the later rounds was very even. In the end I gave that round to Froch, but if anyone scored it 106-102 I wouldn't argue too hard. Credit to Froch for taking it out fo the hands of the judges, and credit to Taylor for a fantastic fight: he fought well but just got beat. **** happens. The only criticism I would have is Jermain didn't attack Froch enough straight after getting the knockdown, but other than that, he fought well and contrary to what many people are saying, showed a lot of heart in the last round.
