Anybody get Emotional last night.......

Kostya Tsyzu's losing speech against Hatton was one of the most emotional things i've seen in the game.

I didn't get emotional really, mainly because I wanted Pacquiao to win. I did feel sorry for him though in the last few rounds.

 

I must admit to a display of emotion when the transmission I was watching failed.

 

It was quite sad to see Cotto backpedaling, just trying to survive the 12 rounds, must have been hard for him to do that.

 

I did get emotional seeing a Cotto (one of my favorite boxers) getting outclassed by eventually a ATG (what ever level you want to put him at.)

I am the same when I see Cotto getting beat by Margarito, retiring because of the sustained pressure he was subjected to... also tampered gloves debate makes me question the legitimacy of the result but am not gonna go there today.

 

Outclassed full stop! No shame though, Pacquiaos legacy is growing as the days go by!!

Made me realise why I ****ing love this sport, true warriors like Cotto who give it there all for their craft, makes me realise why I have gone right off football these last few years, ****ing cry baby metrosexuals rolling around at the slightest nudge. This is sport at its most basic and best, man v man for the winner of themselves

i thought pacquiao was going to go early after the 1st round but on the 2nd kd in the mid round i was supirsed to see cotto like that i pittied him from the mid rounds onwards i wanted cotto to pullsomething off and hit pac with something big unfortunately it wasnt to be

 

Seriously, WTF was all that booing for towards the mid/latter stages of the fight! Some ungrateful ****s in that crowd last night. They should have been applauding Cotto for being prepared to go out on his shield - even though the job was becoming increasingly futile.

 

I wasnt crying but seeing that happen to your favourite ever fighter isnt an experience I'd like to repeat anytime soon! Especially when you have to try and go to sleep right after it.

Even in defeat Cotto showed why I love him, waited in the ring after for an interview, praised Pac, fought his heart out, apparently tried to attend the post fight press conference but was sent to hospital and despite the beating did have some decent moments in the fight. He's still a brilliant fighter.

But sometimes you just have to say the opponent was to good, which he was. It's not like he was fighting (no disrespect) Collazo, Cintron, Berto or someone, he was against one of the greatest ever. He lost, im sure he'll move on.

The booing was ****ing sickening though, the disrespectful shitbags.
