  1. Fleaman if you sort a place a thread out before fight, i will post up some haunts we can hang out in. we could possibly pm each other our mobile numbers and meet up or summat. just spoke to my mate who lives in notts and he reckons hooters will be chock-a-block from 1pm onwards so we may have to go elsewhere if need be.

Oh right! Yeah had a feeling you knew Nottingham a bit too well! You a Forest supporter then? To be fair seeing as though you go to the cricket, your more a Nottingham lad then me! Haven't been to watch a county match for a long time!

Started watching Forest around 1971 and was lucky enough to see many games during the glory years 1977-1980. Haven't been for donkeys years though. Gone right off football although still wear a Forest badge.

    What part you from?

Been following Froch since his debut, mainly because he's a Nottm lad.I was one of the few who went to America to see the Froch/Taylor fight and met Carl at the press conference in New York(met Haye and Klitschko the next day!!)

Really looking forward to this and can't see Carl losing to Dirrell

If you fancy a bit of history you could try The Loggerheads pub on Cliff Road

Apparently the place was so rough during the late 1800s/early 1900s the term 'to be at loggerheads' originated in that area. It's a short walk from the Arena. Might pop in myself although driving later so can't really drink much

Yes, that's right:good Fantastic trip. Five days in New York which(surprisingly) I loved, then couple of days in a small New England town near the venue

Nice one pal. I went to New York a couple of years back with the old man. Did you take a tour of MSG ?? Was really enjoyable and the museum there is steeped with Boxing Memorabilia (Well its not a museum just different rooms with old stuff from the venues in)

No I didn't. Didn't even know they had a museum. I'd've gone if I'd've know that. Merely walked past it on way to Penn Station. Bugger!!

Its not really a museum mate. There are club suites in there which you get to visit. In the suites there are such things as, the originall heavyweight trophy, thee scales used in the middle of the ring from the Ali/Frazier fight. A big bronze statue of Willard (I think....) then theres all the onsite fight posters in some of them. Also theres some Loius stuff in there. Like signed speedballs and that. I didn't know all of this I just wanted to sit in the Arena to be fair but it was nice seeing everything in there :good
