    I'm not, but did help out with some footage of Joe. Would be a great night by the sounds of things.

    Mate unfortunately I'm working, so I won't be coming down for it. I'll be hopefully catch up with Smokin' during the week, with luck! Enjoy the night, I'm sure you'll have a ball. Take heaps of pics and post a few up!

    What a great night....very impressed with the show and both Joe Frazier and Joe Bugner's interest in interacting with the fans...both guys are 100% class

    I will write up some info on the night in the morning :good

    my experience with bugner is that he is a very personable guy. he is a big bugger still too.

    Yeah, I'm 6'3 and 110kgs and hes larger than me and still very strong....you shake the guys hand and he could crush it :lol:

    Great shape for 60 :good

    He was a great guy...took time out to chat with me for 5 minutes....he treated everybody the same from Jamie Myer to the barman.

    Great night 500 or 600 people showed up.....very good atmosphere.

    I'm starting to get a better understanding of just how good he was....going the distance with Ali and Frazier....has anybody else done that?

    Your right about being very personable buster007....lots of eye contact....stands toe to toe with you and engages in every conversation.

    You could see he was very humble and honoured about the night :good

    i went to the Sugar Ray Leonard do a few months back and it was class as well... it was the first time i have actually ever been star struck... i mean i got to talk to a top 10 ATG fighter about boxing 1 on 1 for 5 minutes. It was ****ing surreal.

    Ash SRL was similar, ****ing cool guy. Even told me he was impressed at my boxing knowledge for a 25 year old :D

    It was mate...very well done to Jamie for putting it together.

    The 2 Joes talked on stage for about 45mins with some very interesting stories and some great fight footage to complement.

    I was lucky to sit at a table with very interesting people, boxing identities and high profile aussie fighters.....however I'm not one to drop names :D

    Seriously though - Joe is a legend. Met him once before on the coast at a coffee shop. Imposing figure alright - but what a nice bloke. Deadset spoke to him for about half an hour - all a wanted was to say gday. Still got all his marbles too, in fact probably one of the most intelligent and well spoken boxers or ex boxers I've ever met.

    would have been a great night, hope ya had fun
