Solis' fight hasnt been shown on one of the bigger european tv channels yet. I am looking forward to Solis' next outing to a ring.He is the co-headliner. Solis' promoter Oener has promised a good opponent for Solis' next fight. Denis Bakhtov fought on one of Oener 's last fight cards. He could be Solis' next foe. Bakhtov is a decent boxer, but not really a match for Solis. However, the Russian has a good reputation and is relatively known in Germany. The ideal opponent for Solis at this point of his career IMO.
Yeah, Solis must tighten up his ab muscles. If he doesn't, back problems may persist and his career as a pro may be short.
You are right, somerset! By the way his foe,the Hungarian journeyman Rajkai, showed a better performance than I had thought he would do. He was no match for Solis, but he somehow managed to go 3 rounds with him. Well done,Rajkai!
He needs a top coach.Solis ' problem is probably that he still cant communicate sufficiently in either English or German so that he feels unconfortable working with a non-Spanish speaker.
This Raykaj kid is a midget at HW, Solis is not tall for the division but towered over him. Very poor test for Solis IMO. Solis still has to get rid of some 15lbs of fat, it seems.
Solis still has to lose a good 20 pounds. He had a terrific footwork at the amateurs and with better speed and punch output. Rajkai was an easy tune-up and Solis should've KO'd him in the 1st with a body-head combination... Every fighter with a decent defense, speed and average condition will make the fat Solis look bad as if the guard is high and the defense is tight, Solis can only win rounds but can't deliver KO's as he's picking his shots too carefully to break down the opponent. If he can't find big openings, it's going to the scorecards... Very different what was the case in the amateurs... Solis vs. Haye [YT]12-lRPoFCfk[/YT]
