Anybody Have Marquez Winning The Fight

I agree they should not fight again. All they need is a loooong rest. Great fight

 

best i could give marquez was a draw. but izzy won this close fight by a point or two.

I noticed Vazquez didnt have Roach in his corner for his two victories. Smart move on Vazquez part to ditch Roach which and get Diaz who finally delivered the two victories for Izzy.

 

There's always a huge difference of people being in your corner. Fighters and Coaches should get to have a huge bond to communicate each other much better.

for example: if Vazquez was a boxer and his coach was a Slugger it would conflict the game plan and end up in terrible losses.

i feel Vasquez earned the victory, im content with the decision. That 12th round he wanted it more. Great night for boxing...no problems with the referee from my POV.

 

I had Marquez winning despite the point deduction and I agree that the belt line shots did not deem a deduction to begin with.

That being said, I can't moan about the decision based on the way that Vazquez fought the 12th. While I had Marquez ahead on my card, I can't in any way say that Vazquez did not earn and does not deserve this win.

 

I had it 115-112 for Raphael Marquez.

Marquez was out of steam in that last round, he was fighting on fumes, but on my card, the last 10-8 round for Vasquez is what made it close for him.


What a fight, my hats off to both combatants, a pity someone has to go home a loser, but to tell you the truth, I feel for Raphael Marquez and the anger he showed for not getting the decision.
I really dont see how Vasquez did better than a draw, I really dont!
The one judge who had it 114-111 for Israel, I feel was way off line!

......but no use in dwelling and complaining, I'm not going to let three judges and a ref who was out of line deducting a point for low blows that were clearly on the beltline, ruin what was a great night of fistic pugilism.
Its only March, and I have little doubt that this fight will be FOTY!:happy

I thought Vazquez did well in his first fight, and I thought of he would won that fight if he hadn't had the broken nose.

Dude Roach or No Roach won't matter. He won convincingly, no excuses. Marquez in my honest opinion only won rounds 1-4. Rest is all Vazquez.

It was a bad thing for Marquez to do some low blows on Vazquez. And he should be deducted like the ref did.
