Ruiz has done nothing of late to get the Joshua payday,he has never been active enough and has had some less than stellar performances since the loss to Joshua in the rematch. Parker Dubois Zhang Kabayel are all more deserving than Ruiz to get a fight with Joshua as well as a win over any one of them doing more for his career at this point .

I don't want to see Fat Andy ever again and I also think his brief stint as world champion is a skid mark in boxing history.

Of course the boxer with the longer reach would try to use this to his advantage. Standing in range and trading seems like terrible game plan.

If he beats miller and then a spectacular ko against a top ten fighter, then yes. But as it stands now No.

Isn't he on a drugs ban anyway? Bit like hughie fury, sitting out the exact length of a ban with inactivity and an injury?

Aren't we all forgetting something went on backstage before that first fight with aj, everyone knew he wasn't right coming to the ring and it has been alluded to many times something happened.

Ruiz will never beat Joshua again.

    It would be a boring 12 x 0 repeat.

Joshua won every second of every round of the second fight.................that type of dominance doesn't call for a third fight being necessary.

I'd rather see Ruiz against Parker again, or against Zhang, or Kabayel or Whyte. Zero interest in seeing Joshua beat him up again.

I'm always for tying a bow on a 1-1 deadlock series to have the business settled on principle.

Absolutely terrible fight, Ruiz is a part-time boxer, he's effectively retired since he got his AJ paydays

Far better fights out there for Joshua: Zhang, Dubois, Parker rematch, even Hrgovic would be better than inactive Ruiz

It looks better legacy-wise to have avenged losses twice over to erase any future doubt.

If you're just glancing at a fighter's resume on BoxRec, sure. But (most) boxing fans wouldn't be duped by this, Ruiz has fought just twice in the past 4.5 years and didn't look impressive in either fight, he'll have been out of the ring for almost 2 years by the time he fights Miller.

Unless Ruiz looks absolutely incredible against Miller (he won't), it's a terrible fight when there are far better fights out there for Joshua. He would get more credit for decisively beating the soon-to-be IBF champ Dubois, or the WBO interim champ Parker, than shot inactive Ruiz.

And it's not like Joshua left any doubt in the Ruiz rematch.
