    that's the excuse for ending the 15 round fights

    I don't know if this is accurate, but it came around the time of Oscar De La Hoya turning pro, and it was pushed by Bob Arum to help his goose move along under the pretense of boxer safety.

    I dont like this day prior weigh in stuff, I say they weigh in the morning of the fight. Too many light heavys middleweights and welters masquerading as Middleweights, welters and lightweights for my taste.
