I hope he dont start back to slowly as many boxers do after a defeat. I felt he had good success the few times he let his hands go for more then à 1-2 against Calzague. I think he should take another good caliber mass puncher and try being bolder for is next fight. Unfortunaly no name pops to my head right now.

Maby now would be a good time for a move to 175 too.

YES i agree he should move up.....Light heavyweight is much more exciting and i don't think his power would diminish one bit in moving up....he's a great talent and would do great in any weight class short of heavyweight.

Interesting indeed. I have seen about only five or sis of Kessler fights. I dont know how he would handle such a powerfull punch, but i think he would kkep Miranda far enough to stay out of trouble and win by UD.

I haven't heard anything... but I wouldn't mind if he waited another month until Mundine and Bute defend their titles. Both Bute and Mundine have title defences at the end of February. He could call out Bute or do a rematch with Mundine to get a belt again.... or maybe Sakio Bika just to stay busy.

If it was up to me... I would target the following in order
    1. Lucian Bute - IBF champ, would be available after next month.
    2. Anthony Mundine - WBA "regular" champ, already beat him once. It would be an ok "stay busy" fight.
    3. Sakio Bika, just to stay busy. Bika has a little name now aftet the Contender.
    4. Jeff Lacy, why not.

Last I heard he was thinking of retiring because no one would sign him.

    Seriously?

My hope is that a big american promoter buy him out of his contract. My confidence in that Mogens Palle can negoitiate the big fights is very small.

How about winky wright on the JC b-hop undercard? that would be great, class of the loosers before the main event.

hehe - if you don't know anything then don't write.

Kessler has a contract with Teampalle - the promotor who just made the biggest fight ever in SMW.

There is a little talk of a matchup between Kessler and Larsen. Other than that there is little news - although Kessler recently said that he is still very hungry and will be aiming to take back his titles.

Kessler-Bika/Lacy/Miranda would all be nice, but I doubt any of them a willing to take the fight at this point - I see Miranda as the most like of those three.

If he isnt carefull, being Danish and off American television, he may well be sidelined if he isnt handled right.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was sidelined by other fighters. He's the best in the division after Calzaghe and has no title. Wheres the incentive to fight him if you don't have to?
