Does anybody know where Jirov is? He hasn't been very active the last couple years. Two bouts in two years... Moved up to heavyweight a couple of bouts after his great fight with Toney, but came up short against double M and Mesi, then some more lackluster performances against journeymen and hasbeens, back to CW after that but where is he now? I think he should have stayed at CW after Toney went up to HW. He wasn't shot, gave Mesi and Moorer all they could handle, but maybe he was just not powerfull enough to really make an impact at HW. I think if he stayed at CW he'd been competitive with Mormeck, Bell and also Haye - but well... he probably wanted that rematch with Toney so bad...
I was wondering the same thing:huh i haven't seen him in the ring in a live fight for a very long time, the Toney fight one of my all time favorites took a lot out of him and it's like he lost interest in boxing after he was KO'D by Moorer..
